The client

Our Health Matters, Center for Social Innovation in Health and Wellbeing is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting health and well-being as fundamental rights. Its work focuses on addressing the structural causes of disease and inequality through a combination of applied research, public policy analysis, community action, and legal advocacy.

The challenge

Our Health Matters needed to build its digital presence from scratch, without a previous website to support its mission, growth, and work with different audiences. The main challenge was to create a reliable, scalable platform that could communicate complex health and rights information without incurring high technical support costs or constant dependence on developers. Additionally, the organization required:

  • A solution that was easy for its own team to manage.
  • Flexibility to update and create content quickly.
  • A technical foundation optimized from the outset for visibility, accessibility, and organic growth.
  • A scalable site that allows for growth within a budget appropriate for the NGO.

The solution

Our Health Matters came to life thanks to a future-proof, no-code digital platform built entirely from scratch, using a no-code platform focused exclusively on an AI assistant to implement the design, giving the organization a modern, flexible, and sustainable web presence. This approach eliminated traditional technical barriers without compromising performance or scalability.

The implementation enabled:

  • Design the website pages taking into account the page guidelines and UX best practices.
  • Create a modern and scalable platform without complex development.
  • Give the team complete autonomy to edit and publish content without technical knowledge.
  • Significantly reduce support and maintenance costs.
  • Maintain flexibility to evolve the site without relying on custom code.
  • Ensure an optimized foundation for user experience, accessibility, and SEO from the outset.

The use of a no-code solution made the site a sustainable tool over time, aligned with the capabilities and resources of a non-profit organization.

The Tools

1. No-Code Visual Platform

  • No-code platform for building and managing the entire site.
  • Allows you to create, edit, and visually structure pages.
  • It does not work like a traditional CMS, but rather as a layer of visual content and experience.
  • Gives the team total autonomy, without the need for development or constant support.

2. Front-End (Web Technologies)

Standard web technologies generated by the platform:

  • HTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript

All code is abstracted from the end user and managed in the platform.

3. Hosting

  • Web hosting infrastructure to serve the site in production.
  • Management of site deployment and availability.
  • No technical interaction required on the part of the client.

4. Domain & DNS

  • Domain and DNS configuration to ensure correct resolution and site access.
  • Use of standard records (A, CNAME, TXT).

5. GitHub (Version Control)

  • Repository used for version control and technical backup.
  • Enables traceability of changes and project stability.
  • Not an operational tool for the end customer.
